Canberra has an unusually high concentration of organisations whose job is to inform, educate or influence behaviour: not-for-profits, peak bodies, research institutions, universities and the consultancies that support public sector clients.
Their messages are often complex, from health and safety to financial literacy and environmental issues, and their audiences are busy. A short, well-designed game can explain a difficult idea in a few minutes and leave a stronger impression than a long report.
These projects come with responsibilities that commercial games often skip. Content needs to be accurate and reviewed by subject experts. Experiences must be accessible to people with disability, work on older devices and use plain language. Data collection should be minimal and transparent, and there is usually an approval chain that needs clear documentation at each stage before anything goes live.
We work with Canberra clients remotely. Discovery and reviews run over video calls, builds are shared through web links, TestFlight or Google Play testing, and we provide design documents, accessibility notes and testing summaries that make internal sign-off easier. You can circulate builds to stakeholders and gather structured feedback before each milestone, keeping the whole process transparent and on track, and making it easier to report on outcomes once the game is live.
